EN LA PIEL DEL OTRO
Con el proyecto “En la piel del otro” pretendemos mejorar la inclusión del colectivo migrante y reducir el abandono y fracaso escolar.
Este proyecto Erasmus+, financiado con fondos europeos, parte de la constatación de que un amplio porcentaje del alumnado del centro es de nacionalidad rumana y esto supone para el profesorado la evidente obligación de conocer mejor el mundo del cual proceden. El conocimiento de sus orígenes es clave para conseguir las herramientas adecuadas para facilitar su inclusión y de este modo evitar el fracaso y abandono escolar.
En la piel del otro ha dado la oportunidad a seis docentes del IES Duque de Alburquerque de Cuéllar de realizar periodos de observación de prácticas educativas en el Liceul Teoretic Miron Costin de Iași (Rumanía) en dos turnos. Cuatro de ellos viajaron a esta ciudad rumana en octubre y otros dos en abril. Su estancia allí, permitió que estos docentes compartieran experiencias con otros compañeros europeos para abordar retos comunes, como son la multiculturalidad, la inclusión, el aprendizaje de idiomas y el patrimonio cultural europeo.
With the project "In the skin of the other" we intend to improve the inclusion of the migrant group and reduce school dropout and failure.
This Erasmus+ project, financed with European funds, is based on the fact that a large percentage of our students are of Romanian nationality and this means for teachers the obvious obligation to learn more about the world they come from. The knowledge of their origins is essential to get the right tools to facilitate their inclusion and thus avoid school failure and dropout.
En la piel del otro has given the opportunity to six teachers from IES Duque de Alburquerque to carry out periods of observation of educational practices (job-shadowing) at the Liceul Teoretic Miron Costin in Iași (Romania) in two shifts. Four of them travelled to this Romanian city in October and two others in April. During their stay, these teachers were able to share experiences with other European colleagues to address common challenges, such as multiculturalism, inclusion, language learning and European cultural heritage.
